A one act play presented by FirstLight Players of First Unitarian Church of Rochester.
The play brings to life the words and deeds of Amy and Isaac Post, who opened their Rochester home as a refuge for travelling activists in the 1850s. The best known of these were Frederick Douglass and Sojourner Truth, but there were many more. These activists were striving against the odds to bring freedom and equality to all people, a theme that is still relevant in our own day and age.
