Tuesday, February 13, 7:00 p.m.
Greece Central School District’s Transportation & Support Service Facility, 1790 Latta Road.

This year WDKX celebrates 50 years of broadcasting in the Rochester NY community. Founded by Andrew Langston
it was one of the first Black-owned stations in New York State. He was the owner and general manager. His wife Gloria Langston assisted with operations and together made WDKX a fixture in the Rochester radio space. The programming and activities bring people together and keeps our community engaged round the clock every day of the week on 103.9 FM.

Andrew Langston died in 2010 at the age of 82. His son, Andre Marcel Langston, continues to operate the station as the current general manager and is our scheduled speaker.

Come and learn the story of Rochester’s oldest independent radio station and its impact on the community.
