Biography

He was born about 1874, died in 1951 and interred in Riverside Cemetery. A farmer and business man, he owned a company for evaporating fruit.

1916-The Town Board decrees that hereafter maps of all new streets must be filed with the Town Clerk. 1918-The town’s surplus fund is set aside for the building of a town hall. 1918-Kodak Park is annexed by the City of Rochester. 1919-A special election is held (May 9, 1919) to vote on the building of a town hall. The proposition is approved by a vote of 169 to 72. 1919-The Town Board votes $4,000 for snow removal. This is the first mention in the Board minutes of an appropriation for this purpose. 1920-Construction is started on the new town hall in 1920. 1921-The town hall is completed and on May 30, 1921 dedicated as a memorial to town servicemen who gave their lives in World War I.
