Beginning at 9 AM on March 22nd and continuing for the next twelve months, the Greece Historical Society will be presenting a series of brief videos to mark the 200th anniversary of the founding of the Town of Greece. Titled Bicentennial Snapshots, the series will feature weekly reflections on Greece history, sharing information about the people and events that comprise the vibrant history of our town. The content of each video will be researched, written, and narrated by retired librarian and local historian Maureen Whalen, whose unique style of storytelling will make each episode come alive. We hope that you will visit us often to view our latest topics.
New videos will be posted on this website each Tuesday at 9 AM. If you would like these Bicentennial Snapshots as a Video Podcast or a Video Flash Briefing on the Amazon Alexa devices, let us know on our Facebook page before the first Snapshot premieres on March 22nd.
