The Greece Historical Society will host our annual Strawberry and Dessert Tasting fundraiser festival, on Monday, June 16, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Cost is an affordable $10.00 for adults, $5.00 children 6-12, and free for children ages 5 and under. We have again partnered with the Town of Greece, and thanks to Supervisor Bill Reilich and Staff, the festival will again be held at the Town Pavilion on the Town Hall Campus.

This year, strawberry short cake will be offered by Wegmans, and dessert samples from Special T Cakes & Desserts, Soulistic Sweets, Great American Diner, Starlight Breads & Bakes, and Mayer’s Lake Ontario Winery. In addition, grilled foods will be available for purchase from local grilling experts, Barton’s Parkside Hots. Grease Paint Alley Clowns will be there to entertain children of all ages, and we expect R2D2 and a friend to make an appearance. During the course of the festival, there will be a square dance demonstration, and we will be announcing the winners of our Warren C. Crandell scholarship. New this year is DJ Tony Star of Tones Entertainment.

Tickets for the Strawberry Festival will be sold at the event and beginning June 8, will be available for advanced purchase at our museum gift shop, 595 Long Pond Road on Sundays 1:30 – 4:00 p.m. Purchasing tickets in advance will save time waiting in line at the festival.
