The Greece Historical Society will join the Greece Central School District for a dedication of the memorial wall built to remember the old Greece School No. 5, which once stood at 1790 Latta Road. The event will take place at 5:30 p.m. at the GSCD Transportation building which now occupies the site of the former school and is open to the Community.

The time capsule will include letters from students, letter from Superintendent Kathy Graupman, old and current maps for the Town of Greece, solar eclipse glasses, history book about School No. 5, and a photo of the Board of Trustees from the Greece Historical Society. It will also include the contents from the 1930-time capsule (coins, newspapers, class roster, letter from school Superintendent and ledger of architects).
There will be a small reception after the event. The event is free, and all are invited
